There is a very good 4 page spread written by Tony Parrot in the latest issue of Total Off Road.

I have also heard that some of the other mags have also ran a feature.

Ray Kempster, A previous winner of the Borders Hill Rally, sadly died this morning following injuries sustained whilst competing.

Our thoughts are with his wife Vonnie.

It is with great sadness that I have to report to you all that Ray sadly passed away this morning as a result of the injuries that he sustained on Saturday,

Please refrain from attempting to contact the family, I will update as soon as I know more information as it becomes available

Dear Members,

The re-convened AGM was conduted yesterday 27th February.

A total of 27 votes were received. According to club rules at the time, adoption of rules required 75% replies to be in favour of.

An official count was conducted during the meeting, votes counted bt Jonny Campbell and witnessed by Renny Thomson and Charlie Denny.

The results were:

Yes - 27 votes
No - 0 votes

Therefore as of 3.30 on the 27th February the new rules and conditions were adopted and are now in effect.

Regards

Janis

I'm going to hold a "what's happening" meeting for anyone who wants to turn up.

This is basically a chance for me to let you all know what the state of play is, who the main people are going to be, what's still to happen, and what I still need people to do.

This is also an opportunity for those of you (who are interested in this sort of thing) to find out what goes on behind the scenes, get an idea of what's involved in organising this sort of event, and what you can do to help.

It's all going to be very informal, but hopefully informative.

The "meeting" will be on Tuesday 26th (January) at the Dunfirmline Sub-Aqua Club (http://www.divescotland.org/), from 7:30 onwards.
The address is 81 East Way, Hillend Industrial Park, Dalgety Bay

For you Navigators out there: KY11 9NE is the other side of the road; NT164843 is slightly east; and N56:02:41 (56.044812) W3:20:37 (-3.343559) is spot on.

Look forward to seeing you...

Nicky and Andrew Marshall (Struie Farm, and Club committee) have a new baby: Anna Daisy Robertson Marshall was born this morning, and weighed in at eight and a half pounds.

All are, as you would expect, happy as heck.

For all members,

I have been asked by SMMC to inform our member of a radio training session at Knockhill on the 31st January.

This is the day after the SHRC AGM and Dinner, which is handy as the hotel is close by to knockhill.

This training is of course open to non SHRC members.

Information attached.
