Re-Convened AGM and Proposed Rule changes

         Proposed change to Club Rules and Conditions of Membership

 The Annual General Meting of SHR Club Ltd (“The Club”) was held on Saturday 30th January 2010, and was adjourned to allow due consideration of a proposed, revised, version of the Rules and Conditions of Membership.

Due notice of the proposal to change the Rules and Conditions was not given (see rule 28 of the current constitution); accordingly it was proposed by the Chairman that the meeting be adjourned and a poll of members be conducted. This proposal was endorsed by more than twelve members present and entitled to vote. Thereafter the Annual General Meeting was adjourned (as per rule 25 of the current constitution).

All members who renewed or applied for membership in 2009 should now have received postal communication comprising the following:  

  1. a copy of the proposed Rules and Conditions,

  2. a voting slip,

  3. a stamped addressed envelope, and

  4. a membership renewal form.

Responses must be with the club secretary no later than the 26th February 2010, using the enclosed envelope.

The AGM will then be reconvened on Saturday 27th February, Dunfermline Sub-Aqua Club(http://www.divescotland.org/ , 81 East Way, Hillend Industrial Park, Dalgety Bay.

The meeting will be held at 3pm.

 

 

Submission of proposals/topics for discussion in AGM.

If you have any proposals or topics you would like discussed at the AGM on the 30th January, these must be submitted no later than 14 days before the event.

It is therefore deemed that all such proposals must be in the possesion of the club secretary on Sunday 17th January.

These proposals can be in the form of written and posted documents or emailed.

Proposals should be:

* Clearly wordere
* Quote relevant rules or regulations
* Be clear in what you want to achieve and why
* Show the name of the proposer as well as the signatures of at least 5 current members as per article 24 in the club rules.

Scottish Hill Rally Club Annual Dinner

The clubs annual dinner will follow the AGM on Saturday 30th January 2010. The venue will  be Glenfarg Hotel, Glenfarg, Perthshire. The dinner is from 7pm and is open to everyone, members and non members.

If you are interested in attending the dinner, please contact club secretary Janis McClure to secure your space as spaces may be limited.

The cost of the 3 course meal is £20 and this is payable on the day to the secreatry.

Scottish Hill Rally Club AGM

The AGM is an opportunity for new and old club members to come along and have a say in what takes place for the 2010 season. It is also a chance to find out how the club and its events faired in 2009.
